AJ Swann

A touch passer with a quicker release and above average pocket presence. Has shown the ability to not only push the ball down the field, but also challenge defenders and tight windows at various points throughout his prep career. Measured 6-foot-2 the summer before senior season. Owns a thicker build as he’s hovering 200 pounds and uses that weight to advantage as he isn’t afraid to take a hit. Also has a knack for moving the chains with his feet the unconventional way when a play breaks down. Clean more times than not with his drops and likes to step into his throws in hopes of generating more velocity. Completed just over 61 percent of his passes as a senior while playing in more of a pro-style spread offense. Must cutdown on mistakes at the next level after tossing over 20 interceptions the past three years, but has the skillset to win games at the Power 5 level. Could find success in a number of different offensive systems, but likely to be the most comfortable in the gun directing a balanced attack.
