2013 (Jr.): Redshirted his first year at Kansas.
2011-12 (Fr.- So. at Hinds CC): Rated a three-star defensive line prospect by Rivals.com out of Hinds Community College... Played in four games as a sophomore at Hinds CC before suffering an injury... Had eight tackles, including five solo stops in 2012... Also recorded one sack... Had an outstanding 2011 season with 65 tackles in 10 games... Recorded 18 TFLs for a loss of 36 yards and also had nine sacks... Named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State Second Team in 2011... Played for head coach Gene Murphy at Hinds CC.
High School: Attended Clinton High School where he earned the Best Defensive Lineman Award while playing for coach Scott Brown... Also competed in track and field at CHS.
