Hebert is a natural pass thrower and his athleticism gets overlooked. He throws a catchable ball and has touch to go with arm string. He has verified size and a pair of in-person evaluations helps paint a complete picture when paired with is sophomore film.
He has a strong arm and his delivery is free and easy. Without stressing his arm he can get the ball down the field 50 yards. His delivery is compact and he is accurate. His mechanics are sound and the work he put in shows in how he can get through reads. He is comfortable in the pocket and he does not get rattled under pressure. He can maneuver in the pocket while keeping his eyes down the field. When he strides into a throw, he can drive the ball into a tight window in the middle of the field. Hebert is patient and does not try to force passes. He recognizes matchups and he is willing to give receivers the change to make a play on 50-50 balls. Continuing to develop his strength throughout his frame will help Hebert continue to add arm strength. He can make yards with his feet and runs the 40 in the 4.6s but he is a passer first.
Hebert produced as a sophomore in which he completed 111 of 185 passes for 1,748 yards, 24 touchdowns and one interception in 12 games.
