Braylon Burnside

A juiced-up, two-way athlete that will likely play offense at the next level after back-to-back 1,000-yard receiving seasons. Measured just over 5-foot-11, 195 pounds spring before senior year and posted impressive testing markers with a laser-timed 4.5 in the 40-yard dash to go along with a 4.3 in the short shuttle. Attacks leverage well and seems to be at his best when he’s trying to get vertical. Quick to locate the football once it's airborne and does a nice job of using his muscular build to fend off defensive backs at the catch point. Can shake a would-be tackler or two, but not a ton of catch-and-run examples on the highlight reel. Will need to keep developing his game, but projects as a potential multi-year contributor at the Power Five level. Likely to find the most success in a spread system that favors four and three-receiver sets. Should offer plenty of value on special teams given defensive background and could always get a look at safety.
