4-7 Round Day 3

Owns the physical tools and athleticism to play just about anywhere in the secondary. Originally projected as a safety, but we now view as a true corner prospect, especially considering extensive snaps on the outside. Possesses a wiry frame at 6 feet and slightly plus length that shows in his ability to crowd catch windows and pester receivers at the line.

Excellent multi-sport context with numerous examples of bona fide sprint speed. Posted six sub-11.00 junior 100-meter times. Play speed flashes that track evidence in his turn-and-run ability and an impressive top end when required to open up. Combines that linear speed with quick-footed suddenness in tight quarters. Generally sinks his hips well to combine with that agility to produce sudden redirecting and recovery ability.

Capable tackler but needs to add some mass and get stronger to be more consistent in that area. Can enhance ball skills. Would like to see more impact plays / ball production given ability to get his hands on throws late. Some view as a safety only, others as a true corner, so might need a scheme fit.

We view as a versatile DB who's trending more toward a boundary corner than safety, but certainly possesses tools that translate throughout the secondary, including on an island, over the slot, and over the top. Projects as a high-major prospect with the athletic profile and on-field flashes that suggest high developmental potential.

H.S. Athletic Background

Also runs track.
As a junior, ran at least six sub-11.00 100-meter times, qualifying for the Texas 5A regionals. Those times ranged from 10.62 to 10.98, along with a few 11.0 and 11.1 reps. Ran anchor for all three of Lancaster's sprint relays, including regional-qualifying 4x100 and 4x400 squads.
Anchor leg of Lancaster's 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 relays as a sophomore in Spring 2022. Helped Lancaster place third in the 4x100, second in the 4x200, and fifth in the 4x400 at the Texas 5A state championships in May 2022. Ran a wind-aided 10.74 100 and wind-legal times of 10.78 and 10.83, plus a 23.57 200, during sophomore track season as well.
As a freshman, ran an 11.28 100 and a 23.41 200 in Spring 2021.
