4-7 Round Day 3Austin is a tough, physical corner who has improved athletically over the last year. He’s one of the more technically sound corners in the region and really thrives in press coverage. He can bully an opposing receiver at the line of scrimmage and plays with a nice edge in his game. He loves to hit and it won’t shock us if he slides over and plays some safety in college because of his size and skill set. Older brother Alex Austin is a starting corner at Oregon State and a likely NFL Draft pick in April and Daylen is further along at the same stage. He’s also a dangerous return man and has returned multiple kicks for touchdowns. Ran on the track team the last two years with multiple sub 11.0-100m times to his credit.
