Dermaricus Davis

Davis’ game took a big jump following his junior season. We saw him multiple times last Spring and you could tell he was primed for a big senior year and was throwing with a lot of confidence. Tall, lanky quarterback with a frame similar to Michigan State redshirt freshman Aidan Chiles. Strong arm, tight release and the ball jumps out of his hand. Pure pocket guy who looks comfortable throwing on the run, rolling left or right. Can make the off-platform throws look easy and is comfortable throwing from different arm angles. Very accurate deep ball and mechanically solid and won’t need much tweaking to his drops, ball placement or release. Poised and natural leader and looks like a future captain down the road.
