Scouting Report

Evaluated 12/01/2023

Andrew Ivins
Andrew Ivins Director of Scouting

A two-way starter on Friday nights that has proven to be a really good football player over the years. Projects as a low safety or slot corner at the next level, but also found plenty of success as a dual-threat quarterback in one of the Sunshine State’s higher classifications. On the smaller side as he’s believed to be hovering right around 5-foot-10, but plays bigger – and faster – than the numbers suggest. Football IQ constantly shows up on defensive tape as he anticipates routes and puts himself in position to negate big gains. Owns impressive grip strength for someone of his stature and can get ball carriers to the ground in the open field. Should be viewed as a potential impact player on Saturdays and one that can carve out a role on multiple special teams units given skillset. Likely will need some time to find his bearings, but could eventually offer plenty of versatility on the back end of a defense.
