Evaluated 12/17/2022

Gabe Brooks 247Sports Scouting Analyst

Undersized in height and frame but strong, athletic build with the look of a skill player. Good combine testing athleticism that clearly manifests on the field.

True dual-threat QB with terrific top-end speed verified on the track. Ran multiple sub-11.00 100-meter times as a sophomore in Spring 2022.

Speed shows on the gridiron as a scrambler and designed run threat. Capable of hitting the long ball if you let him get loose at the second level.

Excellent junior production for the Texas 5A D-I state champion. Eclipsed 2,000-yard passing and 1,000-yard rushing thresholds.

Ball gets out quickly and on time. Compact throwing motion accelerates delivery and aids above average velocity, particularly in short-to-intermediate level.

Play-extending athleticism adds another wrinkle defenses must manage. Has shown promising on-the-move throwing ability. Also has flashed some layering nuance.

Shows adequate downfield power with good touch and placement when necessary. Sometimes needs to load up to stretch the field but throws with requisite strength in most scenarios. Can squeeze more juice out of the top end of arm capacity.

Elite athleticism at the QB position aids playmaking ability and provides intriguing developmental upside. Could thrive as a slot and return option, which speaks to that athleticism. Nevertheless, bona fide QB talent who projects as a potential P5 prospect at the college level.
