Power-5 StarterCarlson looks like he's all the way back from the knee injury he suffered in his junior year that wiped out most of his offseason and slowed him early on. He still runs with power and balance, though not as explosive as he may have been early on, but he didn't look like he was favoring the knee and ran with confidence. We've long thought, though, that his future was on defense and he still can run, pursue and tackle and take down backs.
