Rubin missed his entire junior year after transferring from Las Vegas but has had a strong senior year at Los Alamitos. He’s among the more versatile defensive backs in the region and can play anywhere in the secondary. Some schools liked him at corner, others liked him at safety and early on in high school, he was a very talented receiver as well. He has a long, athletic frame, runs well and makes plays on the ball. He'll come up and hit you, plays a physical game, is a high football IQ player and has shown improved burst and athleticism as a kick/punt returner this season as well.

Isaiah Rubin played his first two years of HS ball in Nevada before transferring in to Southern CA. He sat out his junior year but looks primed for a big senior season and can play receiver, corner or safety.
