H.S. Scouting Report

Evaluated 09/22/2023

Andrew Ivins
Andrew Ivins Director of Scouting

A quick-twitch athlete that just makes plays. Not a ton of context available from a verified data standpoint, but has thrived under the lights against stiff Miami-Dade competition and flashed multiple times during in-person evaluations. Could play a variety of different positions at the next level after getting snaps on both sides of the ball throughout prep career, but was recruited by most schools to be a wide receiver. Understands how to create separation while getting vertical with his speed, and has a surprisingly high success-rate in contested catch situations for someone with his slender build. Slippery in the open field and has a knack for making defenders miss in close quarters with his agility and cuts. Should be viewed as a potential difference-maker at the Power Five level. Will likely need a year or two in the weight room before he’s ready to go, but could carve out a special teams role early on as a returner or gunner given skillset.

H.S. Athletic Background

Ran track throughout youth for the South Dade Express, anchoring a 4x400 team that took gold at the AAU Junior Olympics in August of 2018.
2023: Star player for Miami Palmetto, which went 9-2 and made second round of Florida’s 4M playoffs. Got snaps at WR and QB. Scored twice on special teams with a kickoff return against Doral Academy and a punt return against Miami Beach. Caught 15 passes for 135 yards and a TD while carrying the ball 14 times for 100 yards and a TD per MaxPreps.
2022: Offensive utility man as a junior at Miami Palmetto, which made second round of Florida’s new 4M playoffs. Got snaps at WR, RB and QB on offense.
