H.S. Scouting Report
2 evaluationsEvaluated 06/07/2022

Good height and well-developed build. Stoutly assembled with high physical floor. Early in career looked like a potential flex tight end candidate, but looks like a true big outside receiver at this stage.
Advanced feel for receiver position. Displays impressive route-running snap with foot quickness that fosters separation and run-after-catch creativity.
Good body control in the air. Regularly goes up to get it over smaller defensive backs and plays with strength that allows for in-traffic playmaking.
Enormous production for three-peat state champion in Texas' highest classification. Enters senior campaign with more than 180 catches, 3,100-plus yards, and 43 touchdowns over first three seasons. Willing blocker who hunts defensive backs on the perimeter and can overwhelm with size and functional strength.
Two-sport athlete with strong basketball context. Displays sport-specific skill and dexterity along with some bounce in fastbreak finishing ability. One of the top scorers for a Texas 6A state semifinal team as a junior.
Play speed checks out, though testing suggests room to improve top-end speed. Same goes for lateral suddeness: in-game context is strong, available testing data murky. Given size and lack of high-end testing or track data, could present a high-floor pass catcher whose long-term upside is somewhat capped.
Regardless, should be able to play very early and provide a playmaking option, whether as a chain-moving presence, a deep threat, or particularly a red-zone weapon. Projects as a potential impact high-major standout who could develop into an NFL Draft candidate.
