Jake Guarnera

Interior offensive line prospect that blends technique, feel, and power all together. Spent first three years at the prep level working at left tackle before shifting inside and snapping the ball as a senior. Solid combo blocker that can climb and open up running lanes. Consistently wins with heavy hands and a robust upper half. Distributes his weight well and always looks to be in control of his body. Highlight tape is full of takedowns as he will finish off his assignment by firing though his hips and unleashing plenty of power (owns a 58-foot, 2.5-inch effort in the shot put). Won’t blow many away with his measurables or testing numbers, but understands how to win with leverage and placement. Will likely need some time to get adjusted to the college game, but projects as a multi-year starter in the middle that might be able to protect the corner in a pinch.
