Mason is a two-way standout for the Eagles, playing both tackle and defensive end. While he has an offer as an offensive lineman, other schools like him as an edge and we think that's where he's best suited, given his size and quickness off the ball. Not saying he can't play on the offensive line- his offer is as a center, where he probably could play but has had Hatchett playing there for four years but he plays primarily tackle. But he shows good get-off, trusts his technique and plays with leverage when getting in to the backfield as an edge. He also has a frame that should be able to add more weight and strength in college.
