H.S. Scouting Report

Evaluated 01/03/2024

Andrew Ivins
Andrew Ivins Director of Scouting

Developmental offensive line prospect with an exceptional testing profile (4.5 in the short shuttle, 9-feet in the broad jump) and massive features (36.5-inch arms, 11-inch hands). Listed some places at 6-foot-5, but has measured anywhere from 6-foot-4 to 6-foot-3. Regardless, has the reach and short-area quickness to make a true difference up front if he can improve technique and find a mean streak. Got valuable two-way snaps throughout his prep career and really made an impact on the defensive side of the ball as a senior, totaling a team-high 7.5 sacks. Has limited issues getting to the second level, and looks to be the most comfortable at this stage when operating as a down blocker. Must improve in pass protection as he frequently catches and doesn’t have the strength to hold his ground. Should be viewed as more of a roster stash that will need plenty of time before he’s ready to go, but one that could pay off big if he buys into the process and soaks up coaching. Athletic enough to play tackle, but might find most success on the inside.
