Scouting Report
Evaluated 05/30/2024
Dual-threat quarterback with the physical ingredients to bake into a true game breaker in a modern spread attack. Four-sport athlete at the prep level that owns one of the more imposing frames amongst the 2025 signal callers at a verified 6-foot-3.5, 205 pounds. Game tape from junior season shows more of a touch passer, but flashed plenty of velocity on the camp circuit spring before senior season, stringing together a pair of encouraging throwing sessions. Utilizes an over-the-top release to attack the first two levels and isn’t afraid to challenge tight coverage windows. Effective on designed runs, but has also proven to be an active mover in the pocket that can escape pressure and hunt touchdowns as he keeps his eyes down field. Will use trajectory to his advantage, especially when targeting the deeper third, but must get more consistent with his ball placement. Far from a complete product at this stage, but has no shortage of potential with the combination of his size, arm and legs. Likely going to need time to learn how to manipulate coverages and play in a more structured system, but has what it takes to eventually be an impact player for a Power Four program.
