Kyan McDonald

McDonald is a versatile player who can line up at corner if needed, play nickel or stand at safety, where most schools project him to play. He has also been a weapon for the Irish as a receiver, where he can adjust to passes and stretch the field. That's in line with his ball skills as a defensive back, where he tracks the ball well and can pluck it out of the air. In coverage, he's physical in press and is a sure tackler, with a high football IQ and savvy technically. While he may not have ideal safety size, he plays and hits like he is.
