Power-5 StarterA pure center and the top pure center in the region, Hatchett is so technically sound, advanced in his line calls and pickups, never has a bad snap in the shotgun or under center and is what you want in a center prospect. While Ferndale is a run-heavy program, Hatchett is still just as stout in pass protection. But he really shines in run-blocking, consistently getting to the second level to take on backers after discarding interior offensive lineman. He also plays defensive line, lining up as an edge, but his future is at center.
