Hamper is one of the best players, regardless of position in the state of Oregon. He can play safety, linebacker, receiver, H-back, really, anywhere he's asked to. We like him most on defense, where he can cover like a safety and hit like a linebacker but we know he loves the offensive side of the ball, where he's used in a myriad of ways to get the ball in his hands. He's got some burst and can run but also loves to lower his shoulder and run through a defender rather than around them. Defensively, he can play sideline to sideline, covers and moves well in space, has good closing speed and is a sure-tackler who will end plays.
