Big safety with experience around the secondary, at receiver in a limited capacity, and in the return game. Possesses a frame that could potentially grow into a modern off-ball linebacker. Flashes some quick uncoiling twitch and resulting hit power. Senior-season receiver snaps should enhance ball skills. Showed impressive return-game juice in Fall 2023. More of a build-up runner than sudden accelerator. Strong multi-sport profile shows that as well in 200-meter success. Generally a fluid mover. Can enhance suddenness when redirecting, but has screaming pursuit juice in linear scenarios. Projects as a P5-caliber safety who could fit multiple roles, especially in a scheme that employs a full-time box safety. Legitimately 6-foot-1 with desired multi-sport profile and multi-phase snaps, Davis should possess significant long-term developmental potential that could lead to NFL Draft candidacy.
