4-7 Round Day 3

A late bloomer that can get after the quarterback and make things difficult for opposing offensive coordinators. Looks like a ‘tweener as he’s built almost like a linebacker, but has some room to fill out and should eventually be able to tack on some much-needed weight. Elite get-off and first step allows him to shoot into the backfield and start working. Can get the job done with a few different pass rushing moves like a long arm, but wins more times than not by just finding a lower center of gravity and running the arc. Might be a little light in the pants, but doesn’t exactly disappear against the run and is able to hawk down ball carriers while pursuit. Tested well after his junior season as he went 7.19 in the L Drill. Also posted a respectable 4.8 in the 40-yard dash. Lacks desired length and won’t exactly blow anyone away with his measurables, but did nothing but produce as a senior totaling 12 sacks for Florida’s 4A state champions. Comes from a rather athletic family (dad played played in the SEC while sisters play travel volleyball) and is well respected by his coaches and teammates. Likely will need a few years to adjust to the speed and physicality of Power 5 football, but has a high ceiling as an edge player given twitch. Could eventually play on Sundays if he keeps progressing.
