Savion Byrd

Has gradually added mass over course of high school career to arrive at college-ready size as a senior. Good height, stout through the trunk, and appears fairly long, though no wingspan measurement is available. Wears mass pretty well and is skinny-ankled. Shows quickness at the snap and flashes impressive functional athleticism that allows for second-level work with relative ease. Experience at left tackle as a sophomore and guard as a senior. Played entire junior year at defensive tackle. High ceiling in pass pro thanks to frame and natural movement ability. However, lacks max reps because of junior year defensive duties. Anchors well and shows impressive point-of-attack strength that suits anywhere on the O-line. Has added noticeable, needed strength with additional mass, but may have lost a bit of flexibility and fluidity. Among the nation's top offensive line prospects in the 2021 class. Could provide position versatility at tackle or guard. Projects to high-major level at either position and in general owns long-term early-round NFL Draft ceiling.
