Traevon Dunbar

A well-built running back prospect with an overall good feel for the position. Missed significant time as a junior due to injury, but ended up leading the state of South Carolina in rushing yards as a senior. Likes to follow his blocks and pick his lanes before charging ahead. Tends to keep a lower center of gravity, which in turn allows him to bounce off would-be tacklers with his impressive contact balance. Quicker than fast at this stage and has the agility to side-step defenders in tight quarters. Hasn’t been asked to catch a ton of passes over the years, but should be able to play all three downs moving forward if he can learn how to effectively chip college-sized defenders. Might not win every foot race, but shifty run style and plus vision could lead to plenty of success on Saturdays.
