A three-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite, T.V. Williams graduate from McKinney High School in Texas a semester early to enroll at Kentucky. With the extra semester to prep for his freshman season Williams was able to gain enough weight to play during his first season on campus. In his collegiate debut, Williams caught two passes for 45 yards, including a 42-yarder in the fourth quarter, but he appeared in just six games as a freshman with four receptions. UK reports Williams has been clocked as fast as 4.31 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
