Projection
Power-5 StarterStout interior defensive lineman with a bit more length than may be obvious to the naked eye. Should easily reach 300-pound mark if desired. As high school career has progressed, more of a strength-oriented defender than a disruptive, attacking presence. Plays with good leverage and displays encouraging stack-and-shed ability vs. the run. Strong enough to take on blocks and still make a play. Shows above average linear pursuit ability relative to size. Presents value in likelihood of being able to find a comfortable role in multiple fronts. Adequate get-off quickness but can improve explosion consistency in that area. Shows bull-rushing ability but will need to expand move set. Has a hitch when redirecting and testing reflects the need to improve fluidity and lateral range. Power Five-caliber defensive tackle who may best fit a four-man look but owns the frame space and strength-oriented play style to fit a three-man front.
