Second Round

Braden Smith Indianapolis Colts

Has a high-cut, physically developed build with a high level of muscle mass with little bad weight on his frame. Has undergone a physical transformation from his sophomore to junior seasons and is a model for consistent and gradual development for an offensive line prospect. Is one of the more athletic offensive line prospects in several years, being the only player at the position to ever post a verified sub 5.0 second 40-yard dash, 4.50 second short shuttle and 30+ inch vertical. Plays both ways for his high school at offensive tackle and defensive end. Moves well at the second level and plays with a physical and nasty demeanor. Has developed nicely as a pass protector from his time on the offseason camp circuit. Has some positional versatility with the ability to play any position on the offensive line if needed. Can stand to keep improving his technique, namely his hand placement and radar in quickly identifying defenders at the second level. Projects as a multi-year starter at the Power 5 level with the upside of developing into an early round NFL Draft pick.
